Kadaj didn't want to admit it, but he'd been rather tired for the last few days, just wanting to curl up in his bed and sleep off all the bad feelings. So, once he'd got to his room, he had almost instantly crawled under the blankets and fallen asleep, his arms clutching the soft fabric against his chest as if he was going to pulled away.

Though, once he heard someone talking, those electric green eyes fluttered open, a little hazy from the slight sleep he had gotten. His hand lifted slowly, rubbing at his left eye before he almost looked over his shoulder, stopping when he recognized the voice as his older brother's. A slight smile crossed his face while he shut his eyes and just waited for the right moment to try and surprise Loz.

Once he felt the bed shift and the poke against his side, Kadaj rolled over quickly and grasped onto the other's hand, holding it tightly with both of his own. ``Well,`` he started, that sleepy looking grin widening some. ``I'm awake now.``

Loz frowned when he realized that Kadaj had been asleep, and it was his fault that he had woken up. This frown quickly turned into a smile, as it became apparent that Kadaj wasn’t angry at him for waking up. In the darkness, he stared at their hands, smile widening. “Sorry I woke you up brother,” He said softly, voice above a whisper, but not loud enough to wake up anything else. “I just wanted to see you really bad…”

“Brother, if you’re too tired, I won’t talk or anything.” Loz said quickly, eager to please. He would have been fine with just lying in bed here with Kadaj. Keeping still might even have been a possibility. “I’m okay with just laying here if you want.” All he was hoping was that Kadaj didn’t make him go back to his own bed.

He shook his head quickly, still holding tight to his brother's hand before glancing down at it, tilting his head ever so slightly. ``No, it's okay..`` Kadaj looked back up afterwards, another grin crossing his face while he let one of his hands still hold Loz's, the other one coming up to rest on the older male's shoulder. ``I wanted to see you too, so I'm glad you woke me up for once.``

His hand moved again to flip his messy, shoulder length silver hair out of his face, a light giggle escaping him as he tried to sit himself up then just laid back down, though on his stomach this time so he could keep his eyes on Loz for the moment. ``We can do something, if you'd like. Wouldn't want to bore you to death.``

A silent sigh of relief was let out when Kadaj told him it was okay, previously tense body relaxing. Even in the darkness hi seyes lit up at hearing that Kadaj had wanted to see him too. Somewhat awkwardly, Loz reached out to rest his hand on his brother's back after he had rolled onto his stomach. If they hadn't been put in the same room (and his other brothers too! He was so happy!) he might have gone crazy. Loz laughed gently under his breath, rubbing Kadaj's back firmly.

"You're not boring, Brother!" He said quickly. "What would...what would we even do?" Loz asked softly, not wanting to question Kadaj. "Everyone's asleep and all the lights are out..."

The smaller male wanted to roll over again, but once he felt the hand on his back, the urge faded away and he sort of arched up into the other male's hand, those vibrant cat slit eyes fading to a softer color of mako green. He shifted his arm and tucked it underneath his head for a makeshift pillow, fingers gripping at the sheets barely.

``Well, I'd hope not,`` he grinned, his other hand sliding up to rest on Loz's shoulder once more, a thoughtful expression crossing his face when he did so. It was true, the whole lights out thing, but maybe they could think up something. ``I'm not sure what we could do..``
