Loz continued rubbing the other's back, furrowing his brow in thought. He had assumed that Kadaj wanted to go back to sleep--which he would have been just fine with, had that been the case--but if he would rather do something that Loz would make it his sacred duty to come up with something. Or try to, at least. As long as he could help even a little then it would be alright. Satisfied with that thought, he nodded slowly to himself.

"Never, Brother. You're never boring." Loz said in an urgent whisper, stressing the point. "Uh..." His brow furrowed with thought, Loz silent for several moments, his hand on Kadaj's back continuing its motions while he thought. "It's comfy here Brother, I don't really want to get up." They could do something without having to get out of bed, couldn't they? "Do you want to play a game or something? Or tell stories?"

Kadaj let his eyes flutter shut at the petting on his back, a soft purr slipping past his lips while he thought about the two options that Loz had given him. Well, they could play a game, if they could think of one, but he really wanted to know what had been going on back home first. ``We don't have to get up. Staying here is just fine,`` he nodded to show his agreement, his eyes opening again after a few moments.

He moved once more, stretching his arms and arching his back again in that rather feline like way, dropping back onto his stomach afterwards, a curious shine coming into his stare at his older brother. ``Can you tell me what happened when I ended up leaving? Back at home, I mean..``

His hand paused momentarily at the question, Loz frowning deeply. While he was thinking, the same hand idly made its way up Kadaj's back, stroking his hair gently. "Well..." He started, closing his eyes and sighing softly as he spoke. "I didn't cry or anything when you left, if that's what you mean." This of course was a blatant and obvious lie, but it made Loz feel a little better. "I was still real sad though." He added softly. "Some people asked what happened to you I-- I lied, I thought that would be what you wanted ( ... )

When the hand paused in it's petting, he instantly wished he could have taken back what he said, not wanting to upset Loz even if he was very curious as to what happened. Though, once he felt the touch move to his hair, Kadaj relaxed a little, keeping silent so he could listen to what the older brother was going to tell him. Part of him wanted to believe the whole thing of Loz not crying, but the other half knew that it was probably a lie. Either way, he said nothing about it and answered to the next comment. ``Yes, because that would probably be the best thing to do ( ... )

Loz was crying before he could even try to stop himself, silent tears running down his cheeks as he did his best to keep himself quiet. If he was going to cry, he could at least not make the noises that went along with it. He squeezed his eyes shut as if that would someone how stop them. He blinked quickly, staring up at Kadaj. “I’m not crying, Brother, really…” Came the pathetic murmur, Loz sniffling loudly. He shifted beneath Kadaj uneasily, wishing that he could at least stop crying. “Brother-” Loz reached up shakily, placing his hands on the other’s shoulders.

“If it is it’s j-just because I’m so happy,” He gave a shuddering sigh as the crying finally stopped, feeling a little better. Though he wished he hadn’t cried in front of Kadaj like that. “I’m sorry, Brother, I’m sorry.”
