As much as he wanted to just stay in his room, he couldn't leave Tyki waiting all day and not show up now. Zack had asked the man to help him or at least, that's what he thought, so he was going to try and get help.

Straightening his leather outfit, Kadaj brushed his fingers through his hair in a haphazardous way, making sure that he looked presentable for the intern. If he didn't make a good impression, the man might just think that he was some idiot with problems. He knew that there was nothing wrong with him.

Once he reached the room he was searching for, he stopped in front of it and swallowed hard, staring at the door silently. After a few minutes, he reached out and knocked on the door, locking his hands behind his back afterwards.

He glanced up at the knock to his door, a brow arching but it soon smoothed out as he got up from his seat, crossing over to pull the office door open. "I was beginning to wonder if you had simply changed your mind," he said after a moment, gesturing for him to come in, the door closed quietly behind them both to offer some modicum of privacy.

He opened his mouth to say something, pausing before shaking his head quickly, pulling his hand around to press his fingers over his lips and keep quiet. Part of him wanted to run back to his room, back to where he was safe with his bed and blankets, but he did his best to ignore it.

The door shutting made him glance back over his shoulder, his fingers curling into a fist which he rested against his chin now. Kadaj put on his best nonchalant look and shrugged his shoulders, crossing his arms over his stomach afterwards.
