YES. I love it, from Gabe's drunkenness to the totally creepy-cute dream meeting, and the sharing, and the descriptions, like, Gabe hadn't found it so unimaginable, that he had trespassed into someone else's territory. It was how he'd made his living, imitating others and the boy and his obnoxious purple hoodie might as well have been cut from glass.

So good! That is completely how they work, those little hints of character, and it makes sense. Well, to us. Luckily, not to Gabe, otherwise he would not chase the man of his dreams!

I adore the way that it's so visual as well; I have always been envious of your ability to create these lush environments for your stories, and the red sky, and the purple hoodie, and the way that it's slightly surreal, yet totally what Gabe is used to, is wonderful.

I love your Gabe characterization and what's there of Brendon so far. I think my favorite little detail is Gabe wondering if he can light his cigarette off the sky. I just love the whole surreal atmosphere of this story. And I wish you'd post this everywhere. Or else I am going to have to pimp your bandom_100 stories to my f-list.
