So, I head out to work today and find a note tapped to my door from the managment. It's a five day pay or quit notice. Well, my rent check has already cleared, so I head down to the office and find abouut five other people with similar notices in their hands. According to the office/management they raised the rent and posted notes on our doors

No. I knew that I couldn't read the books before I went to see the movies (I've got a stack of books waiting to be read) so I decided to go in completely open.

*LOL* That makes the movie/books twice as interesting IMO. If I hadn't wanted to go see it before, that just might have. Anything that offends the religious groups is usually worth a view.

I can't believe they would do that with so little warning.
On the other hand, talking from the PoV of someone in Europe, your rent seems so very cheap even after the increase *lol*!

My rent's cheap even for here. It's mostly because I live in a tiny studio apartment in a so-so neighborhood in a poorly managed/maintained complex.
