Enter the Leader

Just as the final member took his seat, the Leader rose from his throne. Some were absent but that was to be expected; they had other duties. No one ever missed a meeting unless he told them they could; they could not afford to seem disloyal.

"I'm sure by now many of you have heard of these rumors about a rebellion," he began, straight to the point, "This is unexceptable." He paused, letting his beginning statements sink in. "I want the identities of the rebels discovered."

A rebellion would not be tolerated. Once the people behind it were discovered, he would see to it personally that each of them were executed.

"I want to know any information that any of you might have concerning this. Now."

A smirk coiled at Itachi's lips at the immediate beginning of the meeting--a meeting that he particularly didn't think necessary. If there was a Rebellion, so what? All of them were not sitting in this chair simply because they looked the part, after all

Hidan slouched in his seat, giving a sigh. Often, it didn't feel worth it, being in the Akatsuki. The life he lived was wonderful, yes, but the objectives, the underlying plans, were just so...fucking stupid.

"Red-eye's got a point," he conceded, waving a hand absently while the other fiddled with his rosary. "Their stupid little pep-rallies got nothing on us, and even if they did try any dumb shit, we could just fuck them up."

He glanced about the room, eyes finally coming to rest of the shadowy figure on the largest throne in the room. "If you wanted us to find out who they fucking are, you should have said something when you figured out there was a fucking rebellion, instead of waiting till the last minute, seriously," he sneered, agitated.

At Itachi's suggestion, Hidan scoffed. "Of course there are fucking spies. What sort of shitty rebellion doesn't have fucking spies?"

Itachi arched a brow at the remark. "That much is obvious. I am only surprised we've allowed them to remain for so long."

But he sat back, as enough had been said on his part. Too much insight would just spoil the overall picture.
