There was a ship called the Pax Magellanic, leftover from before the fall. When we encountered her, her commanding officer was anxious to take on another captain. [He isn't aware that the Andromeda went through the exact same scenario with Dylan in charge.] Her crew was loyal and effective. The commanding officer told us that she and the others hadn't aged because of some effects of the region of space they were trapped in, and until their slipstream drive was fixed they would continue to be trapped there.
They were all androids modeled after the old crew. The commanding officer, the ship's Avatar who had fallen in love with her captain and was misled by her affection. The moment we learned this they waged an attack. We had to destroy a vessel our ship loved like a sister because it had become completely unstable.
