"Because I was drunk. And currently pressed quite happily against some guy I don't know." Inyri snaps, wincing. "And then he grabbed me. With a blaster under my chin. Maybe you missed that bit."
Her head lulls to the side again, and her hand goes limp against her stomach.
So Shalla's right in the hall when she wakes, and walks in a couple of seconds after the droids leave.
"It may be silly of me, but I find myself wondering how the kriff you ended up shot. On Coruscant. And not on a mission."

She sounds sleepy. "An' if I live through this, I'm gonna kill that bastard. If I could remember what he looked like. S'why Lilly knows."

"Though there's another thing I'm wondering. Why didn't you shoot him before he shot you?"

Shalla is upset, and she is worried. It's just easier to berate Inyri than to attempt to make things better. She never quite manages when she tries.
But then Inyri does that and Shalla's moving to her bed quickly.
"Hey, don't go passing out on me."

She yawns before glancing up at Shalla. "Don't...fuss at me anymore. Please. I can't kriffing handle it."

And this is one of those good things that people talk about.
She sighs and slips her hand into one of Inyri's.
"Okay. But I do wish my friends would stop getting themselves hurt."
Reply
"I didn't mean to." She says softly.
