Food Poisoning???
Ugh. I had such a lovely weekend and wake up at 4am this morning feeling like the living dead. I got almost no work done today. My boss is a pretty understanding person and so I don't think she really cared (in fact she sent me several tasks by email with the disclaimer, "If you feel up to it." Love my weekends
I really am lucky to have the job I do ... but I still love the weekends best.

Thoughts on my son ...
I think I am trying to get to a certain place with my almost 9 year old son. I am trying to learn to accept who he is and help him get where he is going in life instead of where I think he ought to be. This is a little hard ( Read more... ) -

SPRING!
It has been so gorgeous here in beautiful Ohio the past few days! Sunny and in the 60s and even today in the 70s. Lovely breezes and crocuses popping up all over. I've been giving the puppers nice long walks and playing outside with the kids ( Read more... ) -
It finally feels like spring
Nice day so far. Got up and took a long walk with the puppers - this is one of the first time I've tried walking him much outside our yard. He seemed to enjoy it, though of course he kept wanting to stop to sniff - especially the three fire hydrants on our block. So, it was not such good exercise for me ... which goodness knows I need. Fabulous weekend
We had a great weekend - it was sunny and nice here in OH - well nice for Ohio anyway! In the 40s and dry with a strong wind.
We went to see my in-laws yesterday. FIL has terminal cancer, so we try to make it down every weekend he's not completely out from the chemo. Luckily, the kids - especially my daughter - have been really interested in ( Read more... ) -
Today is the first day of the rest of my life
This is my first post. I am basically getting into Live Journal as I have found some users out there I would like to stalk friend or at least be able to read some of their fan fiction.
