Never buy a Schwin from Wally World and not take it to a bike dealer to be checked out!
This last month has been exciting, stressful, painful and annoying.
A month ago, up at my mom's, I took my new Schwin 7 speed Cruiser with me to ride. Well, I stupidly took my bike down a steep pathway ... and my brakes failed. Making a bed
My cheap metal futon frame is breaking down. I found a project on the internet for a queen mattress and adjusted it to a full size mattress. Cost was a little more than expected.( Photos ) -
Pandamonium
I was able to go to the National Zoo yesterday, thinking today was going to be much hotter (Which it really wasn't). And since it was so hot the panda keepers decided to keep the three of them inside which made the inside of the Panda House quite crowded, but so much cooler than outside. Stumbling a little.

First thing on GMA talking about the reading the names and a lovely view of the fountains in NYC. I shouldn't have turned on the TV this morning. I miss my sister. RIP, Sly!

Viral Ear infection
Not me. My mom. Thursday she started noticing normal sounds around her house for beginning to be muffled. Friday morning she woke up not hearing the radio until she rolled over. Was able to get off an appointment at an ENT doctor (in 3-4 inches of icy snow). After extensive ear sound testing it was concluded that she has a virus on the cochlea ( Read more... )
