Give their insurance company a try, if that doesn’t work, call your insurance company back and tell them what’s going on.

When you talk with either insurance company inform them of what the other party was saying.

My friend was standing beside the passenger side door which was also open at the time. He didn't see her hit me, but he saw she had to back up to get off my door and then straighten up into the spot. I think it's clearly her fault. I'm just waiting for her insurance company to call me back. They apparently called her right after getting my message this morning. That's why she called me. Grr. I hate dealing with car stuff.

it's your insurance company's job (assuming you have comprehensive) to take care of the damage and go after the other person.

From personal experience although that being the service, they get you to do all the leg work (and take away any no claims from you until payment is received from the TP insurance company).

But depending on the company it might be an idea to DIY rather than let the goons dribble over it for endless amounts of time.

really? how weird. that would have been crazy if I had been the one to file your claim. did you call and file a loss report? you can file something without it being a claim and then your adjuster can handle that awful woman and her insurance company.
