Sorry about the delay, folks. I had midterms last week and had to deal with a nasty computer virus at the start of this one.  I still, however, plan to have chapter Twenty-four up by the 21st.

On a completely different note, have you seen RPatz's new movie, "Remember Me" yet? I saw it last night, and it's excellent. It's really, really good. And I say that as someone who doesn't even like Rob that much. I was impressed.

You thought he did pretty good, huh? I heard that his performance got mixed feedback. Some critics thought he was phenomenal and some just below par. What I'll be looking for is just something DIFFERENT from his Edward role. I want to know what else he is capable of. I doubt I'll see it in theaters, but I'll probably check it out once it hits DVD (because I happen to find Rob very nice to look at. :P)

This update was full of win! I love how you've written Bella's friendships with Leah and Emily throughout this work. The characterization is flawless, and I love reading Leah, and the fact that she's still a wise-cracking, edgy, wonderfully bitchy she wolf despite her growing attachment to Bella. And YAY for Bella and Jacob imagining their future together :) That was so sweet and smiley :) I noticed you plan on continuing this story in a trilogy of sorts. While I would be over the moon reading any of your fanfiction, especially more of your Zenith universe, I hope that your characters get some closure and finality in this story too.

Yeah, I don't imagine Leah ever being all sweet and touchy-feely no matter how close she gets to someone. She shows her affection in different ways.

Hehe, I HAD to include the flashforward. It was one of my favorite parts of Eclipse because J/B babies are love. :)

Don't worry, there will definitely be finality/closure for the characters in this story, because I don't even know if those next two stories will get written. However, I'm no SM and refuse to tie everything up in a nice pretty bow so no one has to wonder about anything. There will be quite a bit of stuff I've developed regarding Bella's transformation/powers that wont fit in this story, so a sequel might be in line to explore that more thoroughly.

Little thing first: There are a couple of little typos throughout this piece, maybe you should look it over?

Anyhoo, this was another excellent chapter, and I'm definitely looking forward to the rest. All that talk about Satan and black hands and souls has me interested for what's going to happen :)

Yes, the plot has thickened. That stuff was actually supposed to be discussed this chapter but all of the characters kept yappin' and I had to split the big conversation in half.

Wow, excellent story! I've just finished reading all the chapters and I love it! I love the development of the relationship between Jacob and Bella, they're just so sweet together and believable! You're really great at getting the characters right. Bella's development feels natural, I love the fact that she still stays with Jacob (I would have hated her coming back to Edward, ugh!) but that at the same time she's still confused about Edward, still loving him. I really dislike Edward and don't get how people can see him as perfect (really? how?), and as much as I would loooove to see Bella putting him back in his place, it's not believable coming from her. So great job at keeping her "canon" but at the same time not as whiny and annoying as she really can be, and obsessed with sparkly-beautiful-amaazing-perfect-pussy Edward

Thank you! I try really hard to lead the characters through realistic development, but there's nothing I can do to alter the more deeply-rooted personality traits. So yeah, Bella's not just going to be over Edward because she's with Jake. But she didn't throw herself at his feet either. Like in the books, everyone involved knows that she has true feelings for both men

It was already enough fail in New Moon to see her take him back without ever confronting him, really, about what he did. Their relationship is, to me, so unhealthy it drives me crazy! I read some comments you left where you said something like that Bella could be angry with Jacob while she just suppressed her emotions or got "dazzled" with Edward, and that it was better. Well amen sister! How can a relationship evolve or be balanced if one controls the other, consciously or not? Aaaarh, it's so frustrating! I'm sorry if I ramble but it's just that I don't know anyone in RL who's interested enough in Twilight to talk about this (in Belgium it's not really as popular as it seems to be in the US, or others countries for that matter). So when I find some way to vent, I jump on the occasion XD

Yeah, I don't SM developed the pack that much because she never even meant to develop JACOB that much. I don't think she ever had the intention of so many fans preferring the wolves to the Cullens.

You're English skills are very impressive. If you hadn't told me it isn't her first language, I would have never guessed. Thank you so much for doing something you usually wouldn't and commenting on my story. That means sooooo much to me. :D

brilliant as usual! sorry I haven't commented on the last few chapters, I haven't had the internet up until recently and speed read the last couple of chapters, all which were also brilliant :D

I was sooo worried you'd make Bella want to go back to Edward, I was hoping Jacob would storm in, stake Edward, and then run of with Bella into the sunset lol but I love how you made Bella so relieved to see Jacob and all the contact in front of Edward, its like a big fat HAHAHAHA in his face :)

awesome chapter, can't wait for the next, I really wanna see more of Bella's witch powers, how she uses them, how Jacob handles her being a witch and then obviously witch/werewolf sexytimes...obviously...
