Performance season has officially started, and though I am happily in the midst of it all, I'm also sad that I don't have enough money to go home for tgives. This will be my first winter holiday with sun and heat and without family and tradition. New traditions maybe? I've made a few observations about music and myself lately. I've noticed that what I respond to isn't related to the quality or genre of the music. If it makes me move -physically- or if it provokes any emotional response, I am drawn to it. The music that sticks with me is always music that is associated with a strong emotion. I feel like crap for feeling unmotivated at school. I'm working hard, ofcourse, but I don't attack things as aggressively now as I was over the summer.
