Were it not for Ricardo's ghostly pallor, it might have been hard to see him in the darkness. The sling he wore earlier was gone, replaced by a splint under his coat; considering his black clothing and dark hair, this rendered him almost invisible. He'd even considered letting his hair down and taking off his bandanna for better camouflage-- he couldn't see a damn thing in this darkness, so why should he let anything see him?-- but ultimately decided against it. Having his hair loose was impractical and annoying, and the things that lived in the darkness could probably see him anyway.

Something was moving. He raised his hand and prepared to cast an arte. Separated from the others, this would be much more difficult; artes took time. His best bet might be to run. But when it spoke, he recognized the voice.

"...Wanijima?" He frowned. "What are you doing, wandering around alone? This is no place for children to play."

Tim really wished he had his night vision with him right now. It was dark, too dark to see very much, and the entire house felt messed up right now. He'd give anything to have some of his gear right now. Especially since he was getting more and more of the feeling that it wasn't going to matter much, now, that he'd promised to give up the Robin thing.

Still, there was no reason to need the training yet anyway.

Tim was cautious-- avoiding the servants that had just appeared, giving them a wide berth. Because that was not the kind of thing he was used to. He was still boggling over it, trying to creep through the darkness (silently, out of habit if nothing else), wary of whatever else might show up, when he heard a voice up ahead. One he heard from the meeting, though he didn't know the man well or anything yet.

He crept closer, staying silent for a moment.

"Ricardo-san?" But Akito had to frown somewhat at that. "I'm not a child," he muttered, mostly to himself. The light didn't mind being called a lot of things, but people assuming he was either an innocent or childish (or both) annoyed him somewhat. "I'm not alone," he added more loudly. "I have Agito with me. And it felt safer being somewhere where those...things...aren't." Granted, there might be monsters in the dark, but his other half had long since help banish his fear of the night.

He had the feeling he was being watched though, glancing around before looking back to Ricardo. Nothing could hurt him while his other was with him, right? Agito would always protect him. Still, maybe he should switch out...in a minute or two, perhaps. Agito and Ricardo didn't exactly get along well.

"Those things are definitely here. I ran into some only a few moments ago. " He put his hand on his hip. "It's your own business if you want to get into trouble, but don't delude yourself into thinking you're safe."

He paused and peered into the darkness around them. He had the notion that something had moved in the shadows, but now that he looked they were as still as before. Perhaps this place was getting to him. Still...

"I don't suppose I could convince you to postpone your little expedition until morning?"

"To be fair," Tim added, stepping out of the darker shadows to come a bit closer. "If the 'day' showed us anything, I don't think that night is going to end any time soon, either. We're going to have to wander around at least a bit, no matter what." A bit more seriously, he added, "Hopefully those-- whatever they are-- aren't aggressive."
