Standing back, Vivien adjusted her shawl as she watched the man and the ghost. Everything in her was telling her to run, she just didn't think that she could lock herself in a single room while she felt this way. It was worse once the door shut...she was trapped, scared as she waited for an unknown assailant to attack her again.

Moving a little closer, she tapped on the wall, letting him know that he wasn't alone.

"Is she...trapped?"

He looks around sharply at the sound of a voice, wary despite himself. Just a woman, though. Even if... something about her sets his senses on edge in a way he can't define. ... No matter. Niall flicks his eyes back to the Drowned Woman, considering how to answer.

"She cannot leave her domain. The bathroom and the area outside it. Where the flooding ends, so does her territory. As long as you don't get within her reach, you should be safe from her."

Kneeling beside him, her eyes don't leave the drowned woman. This was the first time she was seeing a ghost...as far as she knew anyway. Nervously fidgeting with the fringe on her shawl, she didn't think she could tear her eyes away even if she wanted to. She looked..horrible. A lesser woman may have been sick at their stomach at watching her.

"Is she the only one, or do the others have similar boundaries?"

"They vary. Some will be attracted by things, others will stop chasing once you set a good enough distance. Some will follow relentlessly."

He turns over a card idly, considers Vivien curiously.

"You are new to this place then, I take it?"
