Why is LJ keeping my comments from me? That's... impolite, at best. PLZ, stop that now!

Seriously, does anyone else have this problem?

Edit: As of just now, my old comment notices have started to fly in :D! Looks like it's fixed. See, complaining matters :p.

Yes,indeedy! LJ has got on anti-spam lists because of the Russian spam-bots and comments are being delayed all over the place. To see comments, it's best to go to your inbox from the user info page:

user info -> profile -> inbox

Heee, I got your comment! I'll try your advice. I didn't even notice there were comments missing, till I re-checked a post I commented on...

There has been a russian activity lately. I've been getting strange messages directly into my inbox (I think some were advertisements but some just looked like spam). At least the friend-bots stopped a little.

I got your comment too! Maybe the worst part is past? I was getting PMs from bots as well, which was extra annoying!

I hope so! And yes, those bots/spams were annoying. What's the point if you can even read how you are being spammed :p. I might possibly deciper the spams if they were in latin alphabet, but cyrillic...

Sadly, I've got PM's checked in the inbox, but not comments to my comments, so I got spam, but not the replies I might've liked to read... Fixed that now.

For now, I think the best solution is to have all comments be notified in your LJ inbox (that does work, no problem) and to check your LJ inbox regularly. Unfortunately, missing past comments won't show up there, only new ones. Of course, if you already have the notification turned on to your LJ inbox, then you should have all your comments there waiting for you already :D

Mine started on the 17th and is still happening, so I don't know if it's the same issue or something different. I'm glad yours are back.

Maybe it depends on the mail provider? I'm on hotmail. I hope everything is fixed soon, but I do know there was a russianBot problem so it's tough - spam and comments or no spam and no comments? Although I didn't get THIS comment in my mailbox, so looks like it isn't fixed yet... Perhaps it works in windows.
