"Hi Maia, thanks for calling me back. Look, I thought I should tell you, before you heard it somewhere else... I asked Sara out to dinner. I'm sorry, I would have told you sooner, if I had known I was going to do it. I..."

Maia sat in total silence for a moment, her hand griped the phone tightly. "Yes Dr. Grissom I understand. Thank you for informing me. Is there anything else?" Maia's voice is cold.

[ooc: So I don't forget. Again. *headdes*]

A small, gaily wrapped package is left outside Maia's door.

Have a very Merry Christmas, Maia. I mean that.

Maia was rushing to get back to her dorm room after Chiana get degreyed. Looking down she saw the package, opening it up she gasped at the butterfly Oh Sara. She sat it on her desk and read over the note a small smile touching her lips You have a Merry Christmas to Sara. Maia smiled at their Homecoming picture and grabbed her bags and rushed back out the door to meet Chiana so they could go meet up with Tonks, Paige and Sawyer to leave for Seattle.

((OOC: sorry for the delay))
