I've been working on my Katamari Damacy cousin costume at least a little every day since the 7th, determined to have her ready to debut at Con-G. Had to concede tonight that I won't have her ready. *hugs* I feel you on not finishing a costume on time. I started a costume for Katsucon, didn't finish it, started working on it again for Con-G, but also had to concede it wouldn't be done on time since I'm not home tomorrow night due to climbing and have a bank appointment after work on Friday. Maybe if I didn't have to work or anything else, I could have finished it in the coming two days, but that won't ever happen. >_>

Exact same situation - if I hadn't had to work on thursday and friday (and had other errands and packing etc to do), I KNOW I could have finished it for con-g. Oh well, it'll be done for the next one.

Aw it looks really good!

When you're ready to wear it, let me know, although I'd rather not bring it to Anime North this year as it was WAY too hot last year.

Plans so far for Mag are to take her to Ad-Astra masq for a solo test-run, then do the group entry thing at AN with Alex and co. but assuming she turns out well int eh end (and I can fix some things I screwed up int eh last-minute rush) I'll probaly take her to cons for a while yet. Since I don't have to worry about makeup or wigs, she's a lot easier to throw on than most of my costumes!

Wow! I think your head for the Katamari costume looks amazing! That costume is going to be awesome once it's done. Good things can't be rushed so don't let it get you down!

Your Fluttershy costume is adorable! That pink wig looks so cute on you. :3 See on the weekend! (^^)

Thanks for the well-wishes. I didn't end up taking lots of pictures - in fact, I handed off my camera to the Video Ninja for most of the weekend, and the clear majority of my photos are of my Angel Bunny on people's heads LOL
