In 1981, I was traveling with my best friend from high school through France. We had a few adventures: One is a verse in my railroad poem about being alone in a closed Arles RR station with three men "who thought they might seduce us if they just talked slower..." Then when we were killing time window shopping in Tours (done with chateaux bus trips & waiting for evening train), we wandered onto the wrong street and were FLASHED. HE even had a trench coat! We RAN, too, without benefit of your cool shoes. We were so naive, it never occurred to us that a flasher would be "excited" by his crime. We weren't inexperienced in general--just about the anatomy of flashing. When we stopped running, we were in front of a movie theatre showing the King Arthur movie Excalibur, in French and without subtitles, of course. We were done with exploring and went in the movie!
