There's both a Subway (!!?) and a coffee place-with-pastries at 4th and King, if that's where you're going. The coffee place isn't a corp. place (Peet's, Starbucks, etc.), but they have a rainbow flag in the window (also "!!?"), and the coffee is decent.

Just don't miss your train to get it...

You will be fine! I've been doing it for about three years now, and it gets easier every day.
