Originally uploaded by mahka42Tomorrow, I begin the first day of *real* work, not work that is associated with work-study, not work that is an internship. Where if I screw up, there are some serious consequences. Where I'm finally, in theory, being paid my market value. It's just after 10, and I'm thinking that I should be asleep within the next hour and a half or so, with an alarm set for an astounding 5:45am so that I can make it out by the suggested departure time.
And to help me on my merry way, I have this wonderful thing...I'm not sure if I'll be getting a separate MUNI/Caltrain pass each month, but considering my passes far exceed my transit subsidy, it doesn't matter all that much...means just one less piece of paper to carry around. But no more worrying about if I have enough quarters or dollars to get onto MUNI, which is a plus. And hopefully on the return Caltrain ride, I will have that pass in hand as well.
I just realized I forgot to buy some sort of breakfast-y bar to take on the train with me for tomorrow. Perhaps it will be a quick stop on the way to work, or maybe I'll just have to be awfully hungry until lunch. Either way...I need to get my work clothes and backpack together...this is it.
