Was this possibly what guilt felt like? If it was, it was absolutely horrible. He was hardly able to swallow down his muffin, eggs, sausages and two cups of tea.

Oh, poor boy, wracked by guilt. At this rate, he'll surely waste away. Or, wait...no, likely not.

Oops, I had more to say, but somehow submitted that fragment accidentally. To continue, Pansy's cheerleading stratagems are perfect. I can just see her in the locker room in front of a big blackboard plotting out the bleacher maneouvers, like a football coach detailing the plays. But with better pre-game morale speeches. And by better, I mean scarier.

Oh, and I almost forgot Hermione and her *list*! This part was either longer than it felt or so packed with goodness that I've already forgotten most of the things I liked best.

I'm intrigued by the plot possibilities and wondering about the Draco-Lucius dynamic. Also, still loving Neville.

Thank you so much for all of your lovely compliments.

This chapter was pretty long at twenty-four pages (it's funny how it doesn't look that long on lj). The next chapter is the huge one at over 30.

*hugs*

I'm so glad you like it so far. The next chapter should be edited, rewritten, etc., and posted sometime this coming week.

Hermione had me rolling on the floor. And yay for Neville! I like his characterization here.

The more I write Neville, the more I like him. He's not part of the in-crowd or smart or talented, but he's determined to do what's right and that's incredibly admirable.

Eek! A cliffhanger, and what do you know-plotiness abounds, though really, I was quite revelling in the plot-lite. It's all good though-really good actually. Can't wait for the next part.
