Because I know you are all waiting with bated breath for updates on my ridiculous, self-imposed rules about trivialities, I thought you should know I've given up on waiting to watch S6/32.  It just so happens that the padres are out of town this weekend when Neil Gaiman's episode premieres, and magpieinthesky told me to watch these episodes before revisiting S5/

the world pummels the uniqueness and sweetness and ideology out of peopleOne of my PotC pals once remarked upon the fact that, yes, there is just enough "pirate" in Will Turner (with his willingness to break a convict out of prison and steal a ship from the royal navy to go save the woman he loves, and so forth) for Jack Sparrow to decide Will is basically okay right off the bat. (Unlike Norrington, who does not have enough pirate in him right off the bat to allow him and Jack to get along

A significant amount of my reaction to my first couple of viewings of DMC boiled down to "Will is the boringest character of them all," since pretty much everyone I knew at the time was in love with him...but it was because he was so comparatively dull in the first two that he was able to be such a fascinating character in the third. I was pretty sure that was going to be the case, and I was really glad it worked out that way, because we need Wills in the world.

The fact that I was inDoctrinated between DMC and AWE absolutely helped Will's case, of course... ^_^

Yayyyyyy you saw the Dumbledore Christmas episode! I obviously am all for you taking my advice, it has about a 50% chance of being good. ;)

YESSS Blinovich fail! I was complaining about that when it first aired, but alas. Anyway, Michael Gambon is my favorite of the favorites, so I guess I can forgive.

P.S. I got the Anti-Love 14 1/2 album today, and I AM SO EXCITED. Tomorrow shall be the best car ride to the bus stop ever. I declare it!

P.P.S. So in a fit of planning-osity, I went to the library and checked out the book of awesome that Laura and I used last time, as well as a bunch of other highly-rated Disney/Universal planning books, so hopefully that will be helpful! I'll start taking notes and will relay my findings. :D
