Because I know you are all waiting with bated breath for updates on my ridiculous, self-imposed rules about trivialities, I thought you should know I've given up on waiting to watch S6/32. It just so happens that the padres are out of town this weekend when Neil Gaiman's episode premieres, and
magpieinthesky told me to watch these episodes before revisiting S5/31, so I will be marathoning the first three episodes of this series on Friday night.
I got a jump on that while home sick this afternoon* by watching "A Christmas Carol." My reactions:
~ Awesome.
~ I lurve you, Doctor!!
~ It's so true; the world pummels the uniqueness and sweetness and ideology out of people, and I hate it, gawd how I hate it.
~ I would be totally fine with it as a passing joke if it weren't symptomatic of a much larger problem, but REALLY? Marriage again?
~ Also, Blinovich fail. Again. (Canon and rules are totally pick-and-choose with this show, I understand this. But I've picked and chosen, and that's one of the rules I am most fond of. Because Paul Cornell and "Father's Day" are awesome.)
* I am so over these mysterious, seemingly-sourceless maladies I've been having this year. This month, dizziness, phantom aches all over my body, and dry, wracking coughs seem to be en vogue.
