Is anyone out there a Lost fan besides Tracy and me? Man oh man I love that show! I don't think there is an episode that hasn't made me cry yet. Yes I know, I'm all patheticness. :P ( Read more... )

I absolutely love love love Lost! Now I don't cry at the end of every episode, but this one was one that almost brought a tear to my eye. What a great ending, and the trailer for the next episode OMG, now that one will be a nail biter. Do you think that it is possible that Michael has become one of them?

You know how our Mom's can be...Stubborn as Heck! Why is she so afraid to have the surgery?

I've no idea what her problem is. Well I take that back. I think probably she just doesn't understand how serious the aneurysm was. I mean, she's not medically knowledgeable by any means and because she came out without any ill effects she thinks it's just like the flu or something. I've tried to explain to her that it's as serious as a heart attack, but I don't think she believes me. I just want to kick her sometimes!

Oh goodie! Another Lost fan! *hugs* Tracy and I often get online when it's over and talk about it. You'll have to join us next time. Unfortunately the next episode isn't for two whole weeks! *whines*

That's a very interesting idea about Michael. I don't think that's even crossed my mind. No telling how long before we find out for sure.

What do you think about the odd look from Henry over the numbers and button? Gawd I love Henry! I know he's evil but I love it! He is just SO good. :P

How long have you watched it? I could talk all day about Lost... I'm an obsessed fan.

I'm so sorry about your Mom, do you think the aneurysm is causing her thinking process to be forgetable or not rational, as I agree with you, that needs to be addressed first. I would hate for you to lose her. Is there any way you could talk to the doctor that is going to do the knee surgery or the anesthesiologist? My prayers will be with you and the doctors treating her and your family:)

I don't really think her thinking process has changed as she's just about always been this way. I just can't seem to understand her closed mindedness. She's SO stubborn! You can't tell her anything. She has this very opinionated personality and you just can't argue with her. Still, the ONE person in the world she does listen to is Bobby (which irks the heck out of me) and even he couldn't convince her, so that confuses me.

Yeah, I plan on trying to call both doctors myself and see if we can get this thing coordinated. The problem is that if I do this, she had BETTER do it! Otherwise I just might break her knee myself. :P

Oh and thank you for the prayers. That's the best gift anyone can offer. ♥

Did someone mention Lost?

I DVR it just on the off chance that I don't get home from school in time to catch it. Everyone in the house knows that the big TV in the livingroom is *mine* at 9:00pm on Wednesday nights (unless it is a repeat and even then if it is an episode I particularly liked).

That is how it is in my house.

I watch it plus DVR it. I mean, many times I have to go back and watch parts over and over again. :P I love that show and everything is important!

The ownership of the TV is like that here too. I also add that there is to be NO disturbances. I mean nothing. No talking, nothing! :P

There has to be a support group I think for me out there somewhere. lol!

I am a big "Lost" fan. My husband and I watch it faithfully, but get annoyed with the constant repeats! Last nights show was touching. It made me cry. I felt for Rose's husband. I think "The Others" capture the good people (children) to produce something that heals people? It sounds wierd, but makes sense. It is some sort of experimental compound, or maybe Pergatory?

Yeah they've really taken a beating with the complaints on those repeats. I mean, from a business standpoint I can understand, but I'd much rather see it all the way through then repeats all the way through. That hip-hopping is one really big annoyance.

Rose is one of my favorite characters. Her faith is amazing.

As for the mystery of the island, I've NO idea. Every single time I come up with an idea, I later change my mind. I love it though because there are so many pieces to the puzzle. It's just an amazing show and I haven't ever seen anything like it.

I know what you mean. My husband says he has figured it all out, it is all in Hurley's head...like last weeks episode, but that is just his point of view. I think writers are figuring it out as they go..how can they not?

The repeats are very annoying....my husband says he is getting tired of the cliffhangers each week but I think this season is much better. At least they are getting someplace with the story. :)

Your mom sounds so frustrating. If it was anyone outside of the family, you could just say, "I told them and they made their own choice." But she's MOM! It's not possible to distance yourself that way.
I can sympathise. My mom had many health problems. (She died last year.) I can remember begging her to see a doctor about various things. She had severe pain in her shoulder and could barely use it for a couple years before she listened to me and saw a doctor about it. She always said "It's a little better today."--(Talk about denial.) By that time, the shoulder was frozen and physical therapy only helped a little.
Why won't parents listen to us--esp. since we're nurses. My husband claims my whole family is stubborn. He's probably right, just in different ways. Sounds like your mom would win the prize for stubborness, but you can't control her (as much as she needs it.)

"Is anyone out there a Lost fan besides Tracy and me?"--Sorry, not here.

I always watch it and if I'm not home I DVR it! I can't figure out why everyone is well there, I know it's not heaven, or there wouldn't be horrible things, so what is it? Any feedback??

Personally I think it's a bunch of testing for research. The orientation video indicated this and then that map. There's this one website I'm a member of where there are plenty of other obsessed fans like myself. I mean, they're actually worse than I am. The night that the map came up on the wall, many of them stayed up all night long chatting and working out the map. It was an amazing thing to watch and is located here:

Looking at the map makes me also think that it's about research.

See a lot of people think the whole button thing is just a psych test to see how long anyone would continue to push it without knowing why.

There is just so much to that show. I love it!

I am very sorry to hear about your mother. I imagine that is still a painful thing for you and probably always will be. My heart goes out to you.

I'm also the only child from my mother so I don't have anyone to really turn to with her. I just have to hope that she listens, but most of the time that just gets me nowhere. She does indeed make it very frustrating for me.
