So apparently the Green Lantern casting candidates are out, and our choices are . . . Bradley Cooper, Ryan Reynolds, or Justin Timberlake. And as I highly doubt Ryan Reynolds is going to give up Deadpool--or, more accurately, be allowed to give up Deadpool, because GL's certainly got a bigger fanbase and name-recognition, but I'm sure

First off, calm down. I heard about this too, and didn't have a freakout, because no one in their right mind would cast Timberlake as Jordan.

Reynolds doesn't have to "give up" Deadpool, BUT it could get sticky between the too properties - remember poor James Marsden? He got to "keep" Cyclops...except not. However, Deadpool is a much more popular character than Cyke, so Marvel may just have to deal with it. So, he's my #1 pick (besides Jensen :P). Def. not Bradley Cooper, who is not nearly hot enough.

I also heard Scott Porter got a callback, which didn't make that particular newsreport, so yeah...

Okay, the reason why I had a freakout is because frankly, that's assuming people in Hollywood occasionally use their brains. They do not, in fact, which explains why sometimes they fuck with characters in the name of popularity.

Yeah, that's my point. I kind of want the Deadpool movie to do well . . . mostly because Deadpool seemed majorly badass (I need to find some comics with him in them) and Wolverine Origins sucked majorly hard. I would love to have Ryan Reynolds as Hal. I think he would be awesome. Bradly Cooper would FAIL. But not as much as the Timberlake.
