Ah, Schemingreader, thanks for always giving my fic a try. I love your comments and appreciate the fact that you're always willing to try new pairings and characters with me. M.

Isn't it a great movie? Usually I run screaming from straight love stories, but, somewhat stereotypically, I'm fond of Catherine Deneuve, and this one charmed me. And I love your icon! I'm not sure I've ever had such an appropriate icon in comments. *smile*

Fleur is very lucky here, but one hopes that she recognizes it and takes advantage of the opportunity. (I suspect that the stubbornness is a double-edged sword.) Thanks enormously for reading! Maggie

Oh, most enjoyable (even if you did kill off Percy *g*). Sad in many ways, even though there is a "happy ending," but that only made it a richer story. The clock was a clever touch; Fleur is, of course, correct that that hand speaks the truth, and it's quite interesting that apparently not even Molly believes it. Molly/Kingsley, what an unusual pairing!

Didn't mean to be so grim! (It seems like all the comments to this story have the word "sad" somewhere there.) I think I got a little carried away with deconstructing the happy endings. *smile* Thank you for reading! Maggie

I really love your Fleur. You've really captured her sense of loyalty and how important her family is to her, and those are my favorite things about her. :-) Even though Fleur and Molly don't particularly get on with each other, I can see them sort of existing together in that limbo state while they're not ready to move on--a nice touch. The story is very bittersweet; everyone gets a happy ending (Molly/Kingsley!!!), but someone needs to send Bill and Remus a Howler for running off and not letting anyone know that they're okay!

Isn't Fleur such a lovely character? I hadn't given nearly enough thought to her, but, yes, the loyalty (stubbornness) and sense of family are exactly what I was interested in, too. Bill and Remus have their own reasons for being gone as long as they are, and perhaps they'll reappear in a fic one day soon. Thank you for reading! Maggie

Do you know what I'd love? If you wrote a story from Bill and Remus's point of view. I mean, what the hell was going through their heads? Was disappearing off the face of the earth really the best option, even if it meant hurting all these people who loved them?

Grr.

I really liked Fleur's stubborn refusal to accept her situation in this fic, btw. Her reaction struck me as very Fleur.

Ah, Bill and Remus have their own story, and they're not gone forever, just working things through at the moment. We'll see if I can work their story into another fic soon.

Glad Fleur's situation worked for you. She seems like a very strong-willed, stubborn person to me. Thanks for reading! Maggie

I was wandering LJ and found this fic, and loved it. Extremely well done. One of the few stories which doesn't portray a Tonks of Fleur who conflict with my understanding of their characters.

As I am coming to this late, I was wondering if you did indeed write the Bill and Remus story, and if so, is there a place it is publicly viewable?

Oh, thanks for reading! I'm glad the characters worked for you. (Fleur especially was difficult to get, I thought; she comes across as such a caricature in the books sometimes.)

I'm afraid I haven't done the fic with the Bill/Remus backstory yet, but eventually it will be posted here. Maggie
