*squee* Lovely remix of a great story! This is actually the first time I've read a remixed story, so I didn't know what it meant (remixing, that is), but it's lovely.

*laughs* You know, I don't understand much about "remixes" either, but I saw it once--there seems to be a whole annual challenge devoted to it--and thought it was a fabulous idea. And busaikko's story was great, wasn't it? I had fun reworking it. Thanks so much! Maggie

Came way by busaikko.

I just absolutely think this remix is wonderful! I just smiled the entire time I read it, even through the "ouch" moments. The whole feel was wonderful, Remus' confusion. Severus' changes.

I did feel sad for Remus because of his the way things were for him, but he found someone special in Severus and the whole thing was wrapped up very nicely.

It's fun to meet busaikko's friends. Thanks for reading! Hope there weren't too many "ouch" moments, and, yes, Remus is doing quite well by the end here! Maggie

No point in calling too much attention to his throat.

So many fresh, clever lines and observations worked in seamlessly -- this was one of them; Snape's "The whole Order was--?" had me laughing out loud. Very enjoyable read!

So glad you enjoyed these lines! (I'm never sure if I'm being "seamless" or just obscure.) Thanks enormously for stopping by to read and comment. Maggie

Oh, this was a treat. I loved the original and I loved this -- it's such a neat retelling. I liked the slow buildup of their relationship, as well as the feeling that they're no longer young or innocent and that there's a restfulness to that. And Severus's "I'm confused" was touching.

Most of all, YOU WROTE SNAPE!! Yay!!!

Oh, I'm so glad you enjoyed it. I had fun playing with the original. And am warming up to the idea that there is life after young and innocent. *smile*

Yay, Snape! This is my first Snape story. I've always loved his character but never imagined him as queer, so this has taken some thinking. Have gotten much help from you and Busaikko and others on this, though, so it shouldn't be too hard...

Thanks again! Maggie

Gorgeous story ! I love the quiet atmosphere of this, the comfortable relation they slowly start. The characterization of Remus are gorgeous. Remus makes too much sense as a woman, I adore it ^^ I liked the bite of their dialogues at the beginning as well. It's a story full of grace ^^
