Is the different class lengths because of different schools? I'm trying to imagine one school with three different class lengths.
I'd love to read that book list. Lately, mine have all been disappointing (one I couldn't put down because I knew I'd have problems with it if I thought about it, and I did, but my that time I'd finished it).
No, School #1's schedule has three different class lengths. M/T is 60 min blocks, W/Th is 80 min blocks, and F is 40 min of every class. There's now office hours, staff meetings, collaborative learning, etc. built into the schedule, which is part of what makes the M/T shorter than the W/Th, but it's been kind of a crazy adjustment for everybody.
What's the book you had problems with but read anyway?
This comment and three yesterday went to my gmail spam folder, but the ones from the 22nd-26th didn't. Weird.
It was the Hundred Thousand Kingdom by N.K. Jemisin. It was entertaining, but in order to really enjoy it, every time I saw a plot hole coming or a thin spot (something that only made sense until you think about it) out of the corner of my eye, I'd avert them (concentrate on what's on the page in front of me not the story as a whole). But I think this is her first book, so she might get better.

*snugs* I'm glad you are doing mostly well. Baby pics?
I've been having fairly good luck with reading lately, too. When you type of your list, I'll compare notes.
Certification sounds like a good idea. Hopefully it isn't too complicated.
Happy holidays, and enjoy your break!
