I TRULY RECOMMEND NAKED3. It's actually going live at Ulta tonight at midnight our time, if you want and can buy it now. It's super expensive, but I find that it's worth it. There's so many looks you can make out of it and it's great product. Like I've used every color in the set and I love them all. It's great for every day look to something more dramatic too.
I'm so excited to get the Stila pens!!! I want that set Sephora has that has the black, brown, green, and blue in it.
I don't stretch my skin for a kohl pencil. I do for gel and the pen. I find stretching the skin sometimes help if my wrist is being shaky or something and I don't feel as steady.
You will have so much fun when you get it! It's great neutral friendly. Except for the last two colors and those are great for even just shadowing in the crease instead of all over.
The pen I have I find is super easy to use? I don't have to work as much with it as I do gel, so I like it a lot. Gel I always feel like I have to be more particular with my wrist and stuff.
It sounds dumb and easy, but actually requires more effort and thought than you think. I find blinking and widening my eyes several times helps.
THIS WAS TOTALLY MY PROBLEM THOUGH. When I finally figured out, "Oh hey, maybe applying eyeliner will be easier if you DON'T scrunch your eyes up," I felt kind of dumb, but it was also one of those lightbulb moments!
And oh! Using tape is an AWESOME idea.
So far, my favorite eyerliners BY FAR are Pixi's Endlessly Silky Eye Pen and NYX's slide on pencil. I just can't do much at all with the pencils you have to press hard on. I haven't played much with gel liners yet, though! Too much effort in the mornings, haha.
And I think I want to try a pen someday, but maybe not until I master other eyeliners a bit more!
