oh I liked this one. You described the moment perfectly without becoming melodramatic.

This captured that moment--I love that moment--quite well. I've always thought that something like this was happening in his head in those couple seconds, and the last line is really gorgeous. (I do have some crit for you, though, if you want it. I don't want you to think that I don't like it or anything--because I definitely enjoyed it--and didn't want to seem like a ungrateful recipient by offering it right off the bat, but let me know.)
