Okay, I'm trying not to panic because I have yet to do an exhaustive search of my house, but at the moment I seem to have lost the flash drive on which I backed up my geocities website before they closed down. Oh, no on the flash drive! Hope you find it soon. Might not be a bad idea to check the kid's stuff, just to make sure.

Sorry you and your daughter are having a tough time. I'm not looking forward to that, and I have two of them to get through high school. :)

HAHAHA! You've seen my kids' rooms right? Oh, maybe we weren't brave enough to let you up there.

My daughter has been giving me problems since she got stuck coming out of my womb and had to be removed with a forceps. LOL! You'd think I'd be better at dealing with her by now, but she's really good at the button-pushing thing.

I'm sure you'll have your moments with your girls, but if they're basically good kids (and it sounds like they are), the really icky time will pass quickly. Already my daughter is 10 times more likable than she was in jr. high.

No, I hadn't seen that one. I've just skimmed it now and it looks like something I'll have to bookmark.

I don't know what to do job-wise. At this point, I'm leaving all of my options open.

You have a very amazing energy level when it comes to home improvement!

Hey, I have an idea! You could come paint my house this summer! It would get you out of those long hours alone with your daughter, and I'd get my house painted! Win/win, right?

(or, just come and visit me. that's work, too.)

True, that would be a ton of fun. I'm kind of a wimp though, and I'm only good for a few hours in a day. It might actually take all summer!

Alas, we were going through the summer schedule, and I don't think I can swing a trip out there this year. Maybe when the girl-child goes looking at colleges...
