Shooting tonight went well, I think. Some more advanced shots, one of which involved choreographed lighting cues, camera moves, and action taking place in a bathroom-- it was a little cramped. Started making the blood knife today, as well as rough-sculpting the neck wound prosthetic. Also working on rigging the blood packs.

I got to see a few seconds of rough-cut movie footage tonight, and I was almost in tears... it looks like a real movie. It doesn't look like something we shot in some guy's basement. It doesn't look like something I have to preface with "well, we didn't have any money, so...". It doesn't look like something that needs a context, which is really, ( Read more... )
