i fucking LOVED the story.
like...I cannot even put into words how much i absolutely adored this fic from beginning to end.
It was just amazing, as hard as it was at times to read.
I loved that even though they were apart, it was as if a part of them was missing (esp. in Jared's case) and the end when Jen was at his graduation....holy crap i all but cheered out loud (and a tear or two did escape...)
it was just brilliant, utter brilliance.
and I also loved the way you made Chris (part of me feared that he'd be like a fuck-buddy or something for Jensen to escape to, but i'm glad he wasn't. that he was just a shoulder to lean on)
and Mac and Jensen's relationship ♥♥♥

Thanks! I wanted to do more with the signing than just say Jensen signed this and Jensen signed that, so I figured describing the signs would help people visualize it a bit. And I'm glad you liked the video too! It was fun playing around with it while making it :D

I'm so happy Mackenzie ended up back with Jensen (and Jared). I was afraid for a while that she wouldn't be allowed to stay with them, but I'm glad they're going to have the chance to build their own happy family. I can't imagine having the courage to do what Jensen did, and he deserved this ending. And your video was just lovely. Thanks for sharing.

it was really a sweet story considering the subject matter. It was handled well. liked he sort of paralell between jensen's growth once he leaves and then Jared's and of course, the dual "graduations'

happy endings are always nice. I love writing long fics. I hope you've developed a taste for it.

And man, writing long fics takes a lot of work! I do feel like I've accomplished something when I finally get it done though, so we'll see what I can come up with in the future :)

meh, long fics are no more work than short fics, (um for me. i write 20K words in a week) but i think it's all about your writing "process" and style.

if you write short and tight fics better, focus on that. just share your stories. they clearly have an audience.

Daaang, I wish I could write that much that fast! I tend to get super impatient when I'm writing. If I hit a road block I either just trash it all together or cut it off which is why I end up with one-shots. I signed up for big bang to kind of challenge myself to push through that because I would like to write longer stories. I don't really know which I do better, though. Not too long ago I went through a phase where I was ready to delete almost all of my older fics because I wrote them soooo long ago, but then my f-list talked me out of it ha :P Hopefully the newer things I post will make up for my previous crappy writing ^_^
