it was really a sweet story considering the subject matter. It was handled well. liked he sort of paralell between jensen's growth once he leaves and then Jared's and of course, the dual "graduations'

happy endings are always nice. I love writing long fics. I hope you've developed a taste for it.

Thank you! I always worry when I put up warnings that I'm going to scare people away so I'm really happy to hear that it read well :)

And man, writing long fics takes a lot of work! I do feel like I've accomplished something when I finally get it done though, so we'll see what I can come up with in the future :)

meh, long fics are no more work than short fics, (um for me. i write 20K words in a week) but i think it's all about your writing "process" and style.

if you write short and tight fics better, focus on that. just share your stories. they clearly have an audience.

Daaang, I wish I could write that much that fast! I tend to get super impatient when I'm writing. If I hit a road block I either just trash it all together or cut it off which is why I end up with one-shots. I signed up for big bang to kind of challenge myself to push through that because I would like to write longer stories. I don't really know which I do better, though. Not too long ago I went through a phase where I was ready to delete almost all of my older fics because I wrote them soooo long ago, but then my f-list talked me out of it ha :P Hopefully the newer things I post will make up for my previous crappy writing ^_^

Haha that must be how the cycle works - write to make up for everything that you've posted before :)

My writing comes in spurts. Sometimes I can sit down and write a lot, and other times I have a really good idea in my head I want to get down and when I go to write I got nothin'.

So, naturally, my completely rational way of getting past my writing block is to do it with something as well-known as big bang. *facepalm* Ha, not quite sure if that was totally insane or smart, but I think it worked out alright ^_^

And its so nice to hear that you liked Jensen's communication! That was something that I really wanted to convey - the kind of intimate relationship you make with your surroundings when you really have to pay attention, and the challenges of getting people to pay attention to you as well. Its not always realistic that people learn how to sign ASAP because they know someone deaf.

Man, this comment turned out really long ha. Sorry! :P

see you're getting better at using MORE words. :D

yeah, really good communication is an intimate thing, it's one of the things i love about sam and dean, and try to include in fics in general, because, as i'm sure you've read, only 20% of what we say, is done through words. the rest is all body language and intonation etc.

cool.

not much of my stuff is flocked. (none of it actually) but i have a master sticky list at the top of my journal, so you're welcome to read my fic.

my j2au's are arguably less crappy than my really early spn stuff.

you know, only if you're in the mood for, well, schmoopy fic.

i'm working on two other fics now. both a little less light than usual, but project runway is like the schmoopiest fic ever, unless you're a dog perso in which case maybe it's owner surrender, but you know with love, and an almost actual plot.

sorry. /self pimp
