Hey girl!!! I love this post. I am learning to eat out being off teh Atkins...it= hard! lol Do you not eat rice because of your surgery and your tummy can't take it? It is like 150 cal a serving and no fat so I figure it is pretty good for ya, right? I'm having a hard time losing weight right now and I'm not sure where to start. I'm keeping food journals and working out pretty regularly. Lazy end of last week and this cause of teh period though.

Well I am not "supposed" to eat rice, noodles, and like carbs b/c of the surgery... however I have not had a problem with them in the last year so I have admittingly eaten them. These days I avoid it most of the time because like you said, it is 150 cal or more for one serving, if I am going to cut calories in order to lose weight here is the place to do it. White rice, bread, and noodles have very little nutritional value so for me it seems like a waste. Not to mention it fills me up faster and I run out of room for the foods that actually have more value

gotcha... So pretty much I need to stay as low carb as I can to lose weight, right? Meaning- occasional rice and bread..and make it more grains and whatnot. Cool.
I use thedailyplate.com. Just started and it tracks everything and analyzes how many calories I need to eat in order to lose so many pounds a week. I have it set for 4 pounds a week, but that is set so hopefully I will lose 1-3 pounds a week.
Thanks for the advice. I miss chattin with you like this. Right now I needs loads of support cause my weight went up and I got it to stop, but can't get it to come back down. UGH!

If it makes u feel any better you are NOT alone... I've put on 12 pounds I am working on putting myself first and get back to where I was happy. :-) *hugs* I love you girl... you have come so far that I know you can do this... just beat down those damn demons until they're a bloody mess. *sadistic laugh*
