Emeril is coming to the Fort Lewis PX in October and DJ is just as excited as I am! We are both total Food Network junkies and we are also fans of several chefs! (Dah, like you didn't figure THAT out when we did our famous hunt for the "Lady and her Sons" in Savannah a few months back!) It was so much fun.. wish we could have had a cooking session while you were here! *hugs* Alas, the pull of hte nighteyes was too strong for us! Hehehehehe.....

I do believe we've had good times in the kitchen trying to figure out how to make my recipes atkins friendly. LOL!

The clothing swap will be Sat, Sept. 16th... We've also got the potluck/mask-making this coming Sunday, Aug. 27th...

What time is the swap? I've got the date penciled in but I need a general time so that if I get a job I can plan my schedule so I can make it even if I am working! LOL!

I always loved cooking with your little man... he was eager... DJ I usually have to beg! LOL! Although now that he's got these books he wants to cook at every meal!

Congrats to DJ for being an uber-cool chef! I bet his meal would have made Emril proud. You should send Emril a pic of DJ and his meal...who knows he could write to DJ or send him something cool. I love the Em man myself and I thik it's way neato that he is coming so close to you. If you could get me a signed copy of the family book...I could send you some money to pay you back. I hope you get to go and see him in person! So cool about Chef DJ.
