You can't apply for the Parent PLUS Loan until May 1 (going to get to that ASAP), and after getting turned down for that (because my parents have bad credit history, it's quite likely that we will get turned down), it'll add an additional $5,000. In loans, so, y'know, ouch, but she also said she was going to figure out why the EFC was so high by comparison, and see what I probably forgot to put on the FAFSA (or whatever the issue is) when my parents' income tax forms come in. That'll probably get me some more money from my grants (Pell Grant, yay), so I don't have to take out quite so much in loans. Fingers crossed.
I taped the disc up in its envelope and slid it under Laura's door with instructions not to return it until Wednesday.
More money for education sounds good. And, y'know, MAKES SENSE.
Oh! Speaking of e-mail; if you got an e-mail about the English/Writing/&c. major survey, please fill it out if you haven't already. It's my job to remind people, but also it'll make the department more fun!
