Things are looking up, that's for sure, not least of all being the fact that I go home in 8 days!
Financial Aid is working out a lot better, and apprently I'll be getting $1,000 more in PLUS Loan denial money (which translates to unsubsidized Stafford), so while I'll be paying it off from inside the nursing home, I'll get through college!
I drove myself crazy Thursday night, and sat in the Gorge from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., writing an 8-page paper. Never again.
Right now, I'm in the middle of a 6-page paper due tomorrow. I'm about 1/3 the way through at almost-two pages. And I only just started at 3:15, including taking a 30-minute break to shower.
I'm still sick and tired of almost everyone, but I spent all of yesterday with Laura, which was nice. There's a plethora of dramatic events going on, which induces some eye-rolling and hermitage on my part.
And I'm forcing someone (probably Laura and Sydney) to take my Oblivion disc and not return it until after Wednesday's morning class. I fear that if I don't, it will seduce me away from the things I ought to be doing.
I taped the disc up in its envelope and slid it under Laura's door with instructions not to return it until Wednesday.
More money for education sounds good. And, y'know, MAKES SENSE.
Oh! Speaking of e-mail; if you got an e-mail about the English/Writing/&c. major survey, please fill it out if you haven't already. It's my job to remind people, but also it'll make the department more fun!
Aw, I'm sorry. Just remember to breathe, and remind yourself you're in Italy! Shall we expect a blog post about Venice soon?
