So I had an attack last night. I couldn't fall asleep and every time I closed my eyes my heart raced and I couldn't breathe. It was definitely panic. I did this for about an hour until finally I got up, took some nyquil, and eventually passed out. It was really scary though. Now, I'm like dead. Ugh, I had something similar once but a little different. I woke up in the middle of the night and thought I was having a heart attack. My heart was racing, I had to breathe shallowly, or not at all, and I couldn't move because I felt paralyzed. So I just laid there for awhile trying to calm down, but I definitely think it was stress.
