So, I'm a little unfamiliar with this whole... dress code thing. Is it like being permanently on a winter island?

I think I might need a little help. [A little is an understatement. The man doesn't seem to have to figured out how the buttons on his bright purple shirt operate, if the bared chest showing off his tattoo is any indication. And ( Read more... )

That's an interesting tattoo you have there.

[Yup, he's bypassing the uniform questions for a moment because clearly uniforms are not as important.]

Well, yeah, of course it is! Don't get me wrong, they're pretty heavy, but that's why the ship has to be so big. Little Oar's Jr.'s is practically a floating island.

Well back home I'm considered tall and I'm nowhere near twenty feet. I don't think I know anyone who is.

Eh, really? How tall are you?

In my world, twenty is pretty unusual, but giants get to be a hundred feet, and our allies are even bigger. Enemy too given how Sanjuan Wolf is about a thousand feet... or more. It's not like anyone could measure him.

I'm a little over six feet?

Are these giants unusual as well? I must confess this is rather fascinating, I never imagined there'd be a world where people could reach twenty feet or more.

Same here!

They're not commonplace, but there's a whole island of them called Elbaf. And you can find a few anywhere. In the marines, their own pirate crews, sailing around the world, that sort of thing.

Oh, pirates? That explains your family's big ship then doesn't it?

Yup! My Pops' dream was to have a huge family so he went around collecting them.

Them and nurses.

Especially in pink uniforms with leopard print stockings, eh?

[Just in case you weren't really convinced his family was ~special~ yet.]

They actually have leopard print stockings as uniform?

[Have a briefly startled look, but hey, Russia's not one to judge about special families. His is pretty unconventional too.]

Of course.

[Marco's family is a big bundle of "special" everywhere in every way.]

Huh. Well, to each their own.

[Join the party, at least he doesn't have a sister wanting to marry him.]

I'm sure they didn't mind. Those nurses are fierce.

[Oh Belarus... she makes even the Lestranges look sane? At least he also has Ukraine... if that helps.]

Heh. Your world sounds interesting.

[None of the three siblings are really sane, so it's only a minor comfort really.]

I'm very fond of it, but of course, I'm also quite biased.
