[Down the stairs comes a Red, Pikachu with him as ever in one arm while he holds a textbook with his free hand. He doesn't pay much attention to the new face at first, his sights on a table near a window. But overhearing him on his commuter, Red can't help thinking Takato's getting "pokemon" mixed up with something else.... Pikachu hops to rest on the desk as Red sits down, but now he's too distracted to read. What could a digimon be?

[It turns from pawing at a page of Red's book to face Takato, inquisitive and muttering a little Pi...? Red's attention is on the both of them now, chin in his hand as he watches the exchange. Did he expect it to speak back...? It does in its own way, sitting up proudly to say Pikachu!]
