[The first thing Russia did after getting the rundown of the place was to head out into the snow.

Cold didn't affect him as much as it did others since his lands was snowy more often than not, and as such he had no problem braving it in his new school robes and beloved scarf. There were few students out here, and it gave him time to think about what ( Read more... )

If you would like to know more, I would suggest looking for newspapers.

[She isn't too bothered by the cold, fine with the cloak. Though she was far from a fan of snow. Still, she wouldn't let it keep her locked inside forever. Just like she would have no trouble sitting beside him on the bench.]

Hmm, that would be logical. There's probably some in the library.

[Now he just has to find said library. He scoots over a bit so she can sit down.]

I believe so. It would be rather silly not to give us that much information when we can't even leave.

[Hungary also happens to be outdoors enjoying the snow. She's bundled up quite a bit, as she's not as impervious to cold as the northern nations are, but since it's so damn cold in the castle she figures she may as well enjoy the scenery outside. As she treks about admiring the snow-covered trees, she notices someone that she recognizes...]

...Russia?

Hmm? [He looks up when he hears his name, greets her with a smile.]

[She can't help but smile back. Instinctively she's wary of Russia, but he looks so peaceful and in his element right now that she can't quite help but feel relaxed.]

Neither was I when I got here, but there are a few of us!

[She glances at his robes curiously]

So you're a Slytherin? Guess that means we're officially rivals!

[She laughs, obviously meaning that playfully.]

[He chuckles, takes a cursory glance at her robes for the house.]

[ Norway, too, was rather used to the cold, so he was taking his daily walk outside when he noticed a familiar face. He was too close to ignore Russia (he assumes he'd already been spotted), so he starts up the conversation. ]

Russia.

You're not the only one sucked from one war and dropped into another.

[ He has his feet up on a table, trying to keep as warm as possible by wrapping himself in a blanket. And for once, his white gloves do more than just hide the fact his hands don't match. ]

'Sfar as I can tell, this particular war's been going on for at least twenty years with about a 13 year break in the middle.

13 years is enough for humans to grow lack when it comes to war.

[He sighs and runs a hand through his hair.]

Perhaps it is taking people with war experience then?
