[The first thing Russia did after getting the rundown of the place was to head out into the snow.
Cold didn't affect him as much as it did others since his lands was snowy more often than not, and as such he had no problem braving it in his new school robes and beloved scarf. There were few students out here, and it gave him time to think about what action to take about his kidnapping and supposed new part in this magical war.But the real reason he was out here was to confirm that they really were in a different place. Usually during these months the General clung even closer to him, but not a trace of his sometimes companion appeared. It was a distinctly odd notion, and left him feeling strangely vulnerable. Nonetheless he scouted around outside, pale hair and skin blending in with the snow ever so slightly.
If you were to run across him come up and say hello, he won't bite.]
[Eventually he settled down on a bench outside, legs crossing underneath him, and turned on his commuter. It blinks on as he's fixing his new Slytherin tie and staring off into the not so distant forest. It takes a moment before he notices the commuter is on and lets a little smile turn up the corners of his mouth.]
Privjet. It appears that I am a new arrival here, and while I'm not exactly thrilled to learn that I am part of another war, I was hoping I could get some more background as to why I am here. Has this been going on for a while?
[He blinks, looks faintly startled.]
Ah, how rude of me. I seem to have forgotten my manners. My name is Ivan, and I am a new fourth year Slytherin. It is a pleasure to meet all of you~
