[Layton's handwriting scrawls across the page in that quick, slightly messy way of one that's used to jotting down notes often.] Good afternoon everyone. My name is Professor Layton to any new arrivals I have yet to speak with.
I wanted to inform everyone that I am planning on offering extracurricular, non-magical fencing lessons and demonstrations. I realize we already have a variety of classes on defense, but it's never a bad idea to expand the scope of one's skills, yes? They'll be taking place during the weekends, so that it does not interfere with classes during the week. I intend for the first lesson to take place this Sunday in the courtyard if all goes according plan. All skill levels, from just starting out to sufficiently advanced, are encouraged to participate. Fellow professors are also welcome to attend if they wish. Please leave your name if you would like to come to these lessons, so I know just how much equipment to prepare.
Ah, and I was wondering if anyone else would like to help me with the lessons? I'll need a dueling partner to demonstrate fencing techniques.
