Proswatch - Not a Very Civil Civil Servant

Skipping in very civilly...

The DVD says… “The foolish man built his house upon the sand… Cowley’s reluctant to involve his lads in a case of backhanders and crumbling new council houses. Until, that is, he realises how far the corruption goes…”

Hmm - proverbs. It’s not a write up to inspire to be honest… sounds like a job for Not A Very Civil Civic ( Read more... )

Okay, there is so much to love in this! First, the photos--wonderful stuff. *g* I love it that you captured the way MS cracks, and LC follows. *g* And the grin in the doorway. And Bodie playing with the foil behind Doyle's back!

but no response from Doyle unless Bodie was after the bulldog chewing a wasp effect…
Yes, well... The photo does say it all.

Second, you figured out where Temple-Blake's offices were! And I agree that there's a good reason the hotel shouldn't show the outside of their building on the web site. *g*

Third, oh, there's just too much here that I love about your commentary. Please do keep it up! And, er, wine is a good idea.... *g*

Thank you!

Yay! So happy you like it - and that you think wine is a good idea!! Wine and these reviews seem to go together... *g*

Oh that hotel building is awful! I like the way the website shows everything but... 'come stay here! Look at our view! Look at our beds! Look at our buffet! Just don't look at the outside, as it resembles a stucco'd portaloo!'

This was excellent! Thanks for the pics. You also came up with some things I missed in the chip shop.
Thanks.

Glad you liked it! And it is always fab when someone comes up with something new... even after all these years - there are still things to notice and smile about :)

I can see an icon among these. Thanks for uploading. I can never have too many 'Professional' screen grabs :)

Oh good - if you spy an icon please go for it! And me neither - I use them as my sceen-saver - an ever changing slide show of the lads!!

It is a wonder we get anything done ... they are so distracting, in the nicest possible way, of course :)

ROFL! Good to have something to laugh at in the morning. That was great fun. And thanks for adopting "Kurt" *G* He just looks like a Kurt, doesn't he?

"Kurt" was an inspired idea of yours - that was such a funny commentary - sorry I haven't yet got around to saying so at your LJ. But you are so right - he looks exactly like a Kurt, or a Knut *g*

Glad you liked it!!

And I love the way they sort of migrate like iron filings to magnets towards each other after the fight - empty room but let’s stand-right-here. Quite! I know they are not on screen much, but I do enjoy it when they are that I forgive the writers this once. Especially since they came up with some cracking good lines for the supporting players. Loved your recap, and with just the right pictures too. Thank you!

Actually watching this again I was amazed by how little the lads were on the screen! But the baddies and the lines are very good, so yes, I forgive them too *g*

And thank you!!
