Any more for anymore?! Skating in on everyone's coat-tails... my take on Long Shot. And boy - LJ really didn't want me to post this - absolute pain in the red trackies this has been! For some reason it is showing as two LJ cuts as well - it is lying, there is just one, and I don't know how to get rid of it! Ah well...
The DVD says: 'In the line of

I've only just noticed exactly how clingy those tracksuits are - if you can look away from Bodie and Doyle, take a glance at Harbinger. Exactly! Now is that a gun in his pocket or is he just pleased to see someone...?!!

Thanks!

And the images - thanks so much, I have been trying to make them as good quality as I can. I use Photoshop, and change the contrast and brightness, and sometimes the colour so it looks less washed out and more normal. It takes a while to get them right, so I am glad you noticed!

You seem to have captured all the best moments brilliantly. Interesting pic of the tracksuited trio - have you ever seen anything as narrow as Doyle's hips in that tracksuit? The bloke looks like a pipecleaner! And why is Harbinger running with a gun in his pocket, Hmmm? Maybe it's just a shadow!(Why am I looking at Harbinger, you ask? Good question, why am I looking at the little guy when he is flanked by the good guys? Pass.)
Sadly neither of the lads appear to be carrying guns in their trouser pockets. Which is strange because, as you show, they are hefting large weapons about in almost the next shot without unzipping their tops! Or having stopped to zip them up tight again tidily. Perhaps I should review that bit in more intensely!
Great fun, thank you!

But yes, Doyle's hips... I know Bodie also looks narrow there, more than we are led to believe in fanon *g* but not only does Doyle look very almost worryingly slim, his tracksuit looks a bit baggy in places - such a contrast from MS playing Huw Evans in Doctor in the House. Unless its just the angle of the camera but even so - pipecleaner is right!
And good point about their guns! Perhaps, given all the goings on in those woods, they had weapons buried at strategic places - as Ramos would say, the squirrels with their nuts. That must be it. *g*

Please feel free to take the tracksuit icon! And any that take your fancy, anytime - you are more than welcome!
Yes I am glad you see that too, about Bodie seeming younger. It's the way he plays and Doyle is more serious, I think - aww whatever it is, it is lovely! In fact, doing this has made me more fond of Long Shot than I thought possible!

Yes, quite. In an ep not short on gaping plot holes, this one takes the biscuit! I've read the theories, I've pondered it, but it remains a mystery.
Delicious summary as ever, Mags, a total joy to read and to look at. You really do have a gift for coming at the whole thing from a quirky angle which makes me want to run off and watch immediately.
Only - implying (well, stating outright actually) that Ramos the Magnificent is anything short of the most dastardly and ruthlessly efficient hitman ever known to man - a dangerous game, my friend. Just watch yourself next time you happen to be passing through some deserted undergrowth, that's all. Especially if it's populated by any small dead furry things.

Yes, it's treading a fine line with insulting Ramos. I shall keep a close watch for any men with pudding bowl haircuts, medallions and small dead rats rustling in the bushes and call the police... which I think I would probably do anyway, come to think about it!
