I don't know if any of you use RSS readers.. but I recommend the google reader it's kinda attached to your gmail (if you don't have that.... um get it) and basically gives you one place to go to see if anyone has updated their blog web site etc... very excellent... so it doesn't matter if they are on blog spot, live journal, wordpress or whatever ( Read more... )

I have received many a little note from my students over the years…. but this one takes the cake. I got it about a year ago and have been meaning to post it online for ages.. perhaps it’s part of me balk from the promise made to a 8 year old that I wouldn’t show it to anyone.

I'm liking wordpress... one thing I really like is that I can write as many drafts as I want which will really help my blogging more often sometimes I have a lot to say but don't want to say it all in one day.  and other times I have nothing to say. (plus my browser based spell check works in word press.. and doesn't here, which really pisses me ( Read more... )

I just realized that livejournal has put ads on my blog... snuck them in with out my permission.  Not that many people read my blog or that there is likely any revenue from it anyway, but it's the principal! it's my freaking blog.  If anyone should be getting any revenue from it, it should be me!  I'm pretty sure I'm going to switch over to ( Read more... )
