Looking for an Ezra story: possible E/V but may be Gen & is OW. It's about the town & possibly the guys losing faith in Ezra which results in him getting shot on the stairs to Nathan's clinic while Vin hesitates to help him. Ezra eventually survives the wound but decides to leave town.

I'm looking for an Old West story with Vin and Ezra. In it I believe Ezra gets hurt and becomes delirious, mumbling that the others would come after him it it was Vin. Vin overhears and gets upset that Ezra thinks that and helps track down the bad guys for revenge. Sound familiar?
