I've had a sh#$%y day, And I'm in the mood for Vin to have had a painful day. I'll take it any way I can. Taken out on Vin because they wanted vengence against one of the other members of the team. Someone just out to get Vin. It can be Gen,Slash(more than likely)OW,AU,AFT.
What ever anyone can give.

The Buffalo Gal's "Purgatory", (OW, BlackRaptor)

Sue Necessary's "Helluva Thing" and "In For a Peso, In For a Pound" (both OW, Lady Angel's Library)

Retirw's pair "ATF13: Lost and Found" & "ATF 14: Death Takes A Holiday" (FanFiction .net) need not be read in order with the rest of her ATF series , though they're all excellent reads. If you don't mind ongoing, slow-updating WIPs, try her "2230".

Princess Nat's "War Shorn" and Laws of Chaos' "Family Ties" (both ATF on FanFiction . net) put Vin through the emotional wringer, albeit with very little physical damage

It's a little more lighthearted, but if you want to cap off your all-day Vin h/c wallow with something a little lighter to brace you up and ease you back into the real world, try C.D. Stewart's "Danger Dentist". There's a link on this site's archive page in a posting on March 15th, 2009. (Chrissie!!)

Actually, I realize now that I gave the wrong title for Sue Necessary. It was actually "A Friend in Need" that I'd been thinking of, not "Helluva Thing", though, frankly, just about any of her works or Deidre's might have fit the bill.

Not certain which time zone you're in, but if you haven't closed out your day yet, you might try Estevana Rey's "Darkest Hours" and "The River Styx". The first one's intense, and a tearjerker, the second one's downright harrowing. Poor Vin.

Both are OW, Gen, and on BlackRaptor , with links from Lady Angel's and, I think, All-Ezra. (Although at the moment the computer won't open that site to let me double-check.)
